Anna Vodicka is a Seattle-based writer, editor, and Midwestern transplant who never tires of Pacific Northwest mountain ranges on the horizon. Her writing has appeared in AFAR, Best Women’s Travel Writing, Brevity, Electric Literature, Guernica, Harvard Review, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and Ms., and earned fellowships to Hedgebrook, PLAYA, Vermont Studio Center, and the Seattle Film School. Anna teaches generative workshops at Seattle’s Hugo House, and in jails, living rooms, college classrooms, and online. She enjoys woodworking, dive bar karaoke, house projects with her partner, and everything outdoors.
