Erica Berry is a writer and teacher based in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. She is the author of Wolfish: Wolf, Self, and the Stories We Tell about Fear (Flatiron Books, 2023) and the forthcoming Bodies in Heat; Love in a Changing Climate (Flatiron Books, 2027). Her essays appear in publications such as the Guardian, The New York Times, Yale Review, and Orion, where she is a contributing editor.
